Overview
Certain Advantage is recruiting on behalf of our client in Reading for a new logo Business Development Manager who can bring demonstrable experience in acquiring new business in the Microsoft data & analytics domain. This is not an account farming role – you will be expected to demonstrate your experience of developing and closing new logo business for technology solutions (Cloud, Data, Analytics, AI, MSP, etc.) within the mid‑enterprise markets in the UK.
Responsibilities
You’ll be required to visit the office once a week in Reading, lead presentations that demonstrate our capabilities in the Microsoft Data & AI product and services space, and work with internal technical stakeholders to define solutions that address client needs. You should have strong relationship‑building skills, be disciplined in sales planning and qualification, and be motivated to overachieve set targets while leading and closing complex deal negotiations.
Accountabilities
* You’ll join an established business development team in a company with decades of IT experience.
* You’ll be accountable for building and maintaining a strong active business network and pipeline of opportunities.
* You’ll sell to business and technical decision makers, understanding their priorities and positioning the value of solutions within that context.
* You’ll become a trusted partner and advisor, influencing buying decisions that favor our products and services.
* You’ll lead presentations that demonstrate our Microsoft Data & AI capabilities.
* Working with internal technical stakeholders to define solutions that address client needs, focusing on business value and commercial benefits.
* You’ll work with Microsoft UK teams to drive co‑sell campaigns.
Compensation
