Job Role: Sales Estimator
Location: Alfreton
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a steel fabrication business, who are looking for an experience Sales Estimator to join their team.
Job Duties:
Review tender enquiries and project specifications
Extract steelwork quantities from technical drawings
Produce accurate, timely cost estimates and quotations
Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and ensure optimal solutions
Work closely with production and contracts teams to confirm pricing and lead times
Maintain records of submitted bids and monitor outcomes
Assist with follow-up discussions to convert quotations into confirmed contract
Job Requirements:
Estimation experience (preferably in structural/modular steelwork)
Able to read and work from engineering drawings
Experience using STRUMIS software (desired)
Salary & Shift:
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm & Friday, 8am - 3:30pm
