Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Wakefield. Contract - PLC Engineer who can focus on designing, developing, and maintaining automated control systems, including programming and configuring PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation technologies.
Must be available immediately.
The Person:
* Qualified to HNC/D level in Electrical Engineering, or possess an equivalent qualification, with time served or a suitably recognised qualification in electrical/control engineering.
* Must also be good with robots and cobots.
* Demonstrable practical experience in both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance, and continuous improvement.
* Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and experience in relevant software (e.g. design and calculation software).
* Solid understanding of PLC programming and fault finding.
* Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and expertise in WCM/TPM techniques.
* Ensure that all Control heating & Electrical assets are maintained in accordance with the company's requirements and in compliance with relevant statutory health & safety and environmental legislation.
The shifts are Monday to Friday - Nights - 8 hours.
The rate will be £45.00 per hour.
