About the Role
We are excited to partner with an Ofsted‑rated ‘Good’ further education college in South Yorkshire to find a talented Music Teacher to work within their Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) faculty. This role offers the chance to deliver muted but meaningful musical experiences to students, fostering creativity, confidence and progress.
You will:
Plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions across a variety of instruments — guitar, drums, keyboard, bass, vocals and others.
Use your experience as a musician (performing or training), music teacher or band member to inspire learners.
Adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of SEND students, supporting their personal and musical development.
Maintain strong relationships, assessing progress and contributing to curriculum development. What We Offer

You will be:
Able to play and teach multiple instruments (guitar, drums, keyboard, bass, vocals) with confidence.
Experienced in planning and delivering engaging, structured sessions — especially within SEND settings.
Adaptable, patient and committed to helping students achieve their potential.
Passionate about music and youth education, ideally with insight into performing, teaching or band experience. Next Steps
