Position Details
Commercial Finance Manager - Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG
Salary: £50-£55k dependent on experience - Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times.
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
Role Overview
The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for providing commercial insight and reporting to the Commercial & Buying Teams to support future trading decisions. The role will also lead strategic projects requiring overall business oversight. The successful candidate will drive improvements in the quality, timeliness, and insight of monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Qualifications, Training & Experience
1. Graduate calibre with an Accountancy qualification.
2. Business partnering experience essential; retail exposure desirable but not essential.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with data analysis tools (Targit) is beneficial.
4. Experience in high-quality “blue chip” environments, with the ability to operate strategically and practically.
5. Proven track record of achievement, results-driven, and collaborative in improving performance.
