Job Overview
Kenton Black Finance has partnered with an accounting firm based in Chester, operating for over 20 years. Due to a recent retirement, there is an opportunity for someone with payroll and practice experience to join as a permanent, part-time Payroll Assistant, working 2, 3, or 4 days a week with a hybrid working option.
Responsibilities
You will assist a full-time payroll assistant in processing payrolls for approximately 300 clients, handling weekly and monthly payrolls for staff sizes ranging from a few to about 50 employees. You will also manage auto-enrollment matters.
Requirements
* Payroll experience in an accountancy practice or bureau
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data processing
* Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
