Building & Construction Project ManagerLocation: BelfastContract: 12-month contract (high likelihood of extension)Working pattern: Full-time, on-site | 36 hours per week (4.5 days)About the roleWe're looking for an experienced Building & Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value, site-based construction projects in Belfast. This is a client-side role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from early concept through to successful handover, while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards-working closely with internal teams, external partners and senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.What you'll be doingAs a Building & Construction Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, including:Leading client-side construction projects from feasibility and design through to completion and handoverDeveloping and managing project delivery plans, CAPEX business cases, and risk & opportunity registersProviding clear leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary project teams and stakeholdersManaging budgets, controlling expenditure and ensuring resources are used effectivelyEnsuring all project documentation is accurate, compliant and kept up to dateMaintaining strong health & safety standards across all project activitiesIdentifying, managing and mitigating project risks, escalating issues where requiredBuilding and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external partnersWhat we're looking forWe're keen to hear from professionals who bring strong client-side construction experience and a collaborative leadership style. You'll ideally have:Proven project management experience within the building and construction sectorA strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle and associated processesWorking knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems, including design, operation and lifecycleThe ability to translate client briefs into clear construction requirements and scopes of workExcellent knowledge of health & safety practicesStrong communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levelsA proactive, organised approach and the ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teamsExperience using project tools such as MS Project and Google Workspace (GSuite)Essential qualificationsA qualification in Construction or Building Services (BSc or HND), or equivalent professional experienceRelevant professional membership (e.g.
