Job Description:
Our customer, a global professional services company, is looking for an Investigations Lead to conduct and oversee corporate compliance investigations arising from alleged misconduct reported through various channels. This is a 7-8 months' contract role.
Responsibilities include:
* Work with senior leadership to assess and address legal risks in investigations
* Manage investigative teams handling reported allegations
* Oversee notification, recording, and reporting processes related to investigations
Oversee resources to investigate significant allegations related to financial and regulatory misconduct, including:
* Defining scope,
* Notifying relevant personnel,
* Conducting interviews,
* Compiling reports,
* Recommending remedial actions,
Manage investigation teams to:
* Ensure effective review and investigation of cases in consultation with the Director
* Develop processes for trend identification and reporting
* Make strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group
* Implement global strategies set by the Global Director
* Provide legal advice on risks and remedial measures to senior leadership
* Coordinate with Compliance Program leads
* Work with law enforcement and regulatory agencies
* Support and train investigative personnel
* Stay updated on legal developments affecting investigations
Qualifications:
Experience:
* At least 7 years conducting and supervising investigations, including:
* Financial fraud and ethics investigations
* Regulatory and governmental investigations
* Drafting legal reports and advising on compliance risks
* Handling related litigation
