Overview
You will have the opportunity as a Scheme Support Officer to engage and interact with the people we support, Deliver workshops relating to tenancy management and health & wellbeing. Arrange and carry out activities with the people we support to support them with their goals. Advising and supporting in a sensitive and practical manner and dealing with a crisis effectively and efficiently. Our Ceredigion Mental Health Floating Support service supports individuals in their homes or temporary accommodation across Ceredigion. Our Floating Support Workers help prevent homelessness in Ceredigion, providing support to individuals to manage debt, promote health and wellbeing and empower them to make positive choices. Developing the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability and to maintain their homes in the community and achieve positive progression. Managers will offer shifts with as much notice as possible, but you might be contacted on an ad-hoc basis when shift cover is needed. As such, the hours may not be guaranteed. Services in the area Our Camfan drop-in service and Ceredigion Floating Support team are both based in Camfan, Lampeter. We have additional services in other areas of Wales which are available to relief - staff can pick up shifts as far out as they wish and have access to as many areas as they would like. Shifts in other areas could be any day/time.

Responsibilities
Relief Scheme Support Officers and Floating Support Officers to work in our Mental Health services in Ceredigion involves working with vulnerable people to prevent homelessness and develop skills needed to maintain their tenancies. These services specifically supports those who are experiencing mental health conditions, however other needs may also be supported. You will be helping people achieve their goals and make a very real and difference to their lives. Shifts are Monday-Friday days only.
