Diploma, BSC or MSC in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration is essential for this post.

The F.I.R.S.T Occupational Therapy service comprises qualified Occupational Therapists, Technical Instructors, and an employment specialist. The OT team is integral to the wider multidisciplinary and recovery teams. We strongly suggest a pre‑visit or a conversation with the OT Lead or one of our approachable band 6 OT’s.
Key Responsibilities
The core purpose of the role is to facilitate the transition of service users from inpatient secure beds (and out‑of‑area placements) to community settings, providing OT treatment to support community living, social inclusion, skill and knowledge development, improve quality of life, prevent readmission, and prepare for transition to a community mental health team.
Qualifications
Diploma, BSC or MSC in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
