Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Ascot Racecourse, Ascot High Street, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 7JX
£Competive Salary + Bonus and Flexible benefit Funds
40hrs / Monday to Friday, You will be required to work some Saturdays

Responsibilities
* Commercial Partnering & Decision Support
o Partner with Retail, Hospitality, Sponsorship and Events teams to drive commercial performance
o Provide financial insight and challenge on pricing, promotions, and product mix
o Support data-driven decision making and attend commercial planning meetings
o Lead pricing strategy across hospitality, boxes and event offerings
* Financial Reporting & Insight
o Produce accurate and timely management accounts, including variance analysis
o Deliver weekly flash reports and monthly commercial dashboards
o Analyse customer behaviour, channel performance, and product trends
o Produce raceday and post-event reports, highlighting key insights and opportunities
* Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
o Lead commercial revenue forecasting across all P&Ls
o Support annual budgeting and reforecasting processes
o Ensure robust financial data integrity and provide clear, actionable insight
* Operational Performance & Cost Control
o Support operational teams in managing costs and delivering P&L performance
o Analyse staffing models, cost of sales, and product mix
o Identify risks, inefficiencies, and revenue leakages, recommending corrective actions
* Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
o Work closely with operational and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting
o Support capital expenditure proposals and operational planning
o Drive best practice financial controls and continuous process improvements
* Leadership
o Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
o Support the Senior Finance Manager in delivering timely, accurate financial reporting
Qualifications
* Part Qualified accountant, towards the end of finishing their studies
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with experience in management accounts and reporting developments
* Desirable to have good working knowledge of SAP or other primary accounting systems
* Experience in operational and financial controls and continuous improvement
* Desirable to have knowledge of a high-volume hospitality / restaurant / F&B environment
* Strong people skills and leadership of team members
* Clearly identifiable influencing skills
