We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Service Manager (Adult Services) to lead, manage and develop a range of high-quality services within the Health & Social Care Partnership’s Complex and Critical Care portfolio.
This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for the operational management and delivery of services supporting people with a wide range of complex needs. Services include:
1. Supported accommodation and group homes
2. Fife HSCP Shared Lives Scheme
3. Deaf Communication Service
4. Fife Community Support Services
You will lead a regulated workforce, provide oversight of Registered Managers, and ensure compliance with scrutiny bodies such as the Care Inspectorate, Health Improvement Scotland and the SSSC.
As an integrated leader and key member of the HSCP Extended Leadership Team, you will contribute to strategic planning and service redesign, drive continuous improvement, and work collaboratively with partners to meet national and local priorities.

The Person
We are seeking a dynamic, resilient and motivated leader committed to excellence in Health and Social Care.
You will bring:
5. Managerial experience within a Social Work or Social Care Setting.
6. Experience in service and resource management. Educated to SCQF level 9 (degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification).
7. Experience of collaborative working across a partnership
8. Ability to manage complex staffing situations and build effective working relationships
9. Experience of supporting staff development and managing professional teams
10. Delegation skills and ability to support a high-performing workforce
11. Strong project management skills
12. Experience of leading change and contributing to strategic planning High-level report writing and presentation skills.
13. Experience of working with elected representatives or non-executive stakeholders
14. Ability to analyse problems and develop creative, practical solutions
15. Understanding and experience of Health & Safety responsibilities
16. Strong financial management skills and experience managing significant budgets.
17. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and statutory requirements.
18. Strong IT and analytical skills
19. Leadership skills demonstrating organisational values: Care, Compassion, Dignity, Respect, Openness, Honesty, Quality, Teamwork and Kindness

20. Experience working nationally to share best practice
21. Evidence of delivering efficiencies and service improvements
22. Experience contributing to change outside immediate service area
