Society is in your hands, what are you waiting for?
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Graduate Ecologist to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in ecological consultancy. The role is hybrid, typically requiring at least 3 days in the office or on-site.
What does the role involve?
* Undertaking ecological surveys (habitat surveys and surveys for legally protected species).
* Report writing and liaising with clients, contractors, and the public to support land use and ecology points for BREEM assessments.
* Producing habitat and survey plans.
* Carrying out Ecological Clerk of Works duties.
What do you need?
* A degree in Ecology or a related subject.
* Fresh graduates or those with some experience are encouraged to apply.
* The role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with travel required; a full driver’s license is essential.
* Availability for outside normal hours, such as night surveys for bats or early morning/ evening site visits for reptiles.
