Employability Trainer Greater Manchester
Salary: £29,000 per annum plus benefits
Location: Greater Manchester (Travel required across offices; base office to be agreed at interview)
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
The Employability Trainer plays a key role in supporting participants who have been out of work for at least 6 months to find sustainable employment.
No two days are the same! The trainer will deliver employability support to groups, guiding and challenging them to develop skills in CV writing, interview techniques, confidence building, and other essential employability skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct group training sessions on employability skills such as confidence building, CV writing, and interview techniques
* Respond effectively to challenges throughout the day
* Build positive relationships with participants, working collaboratively to identify and overcome barriers to employment
* Collaborate with team members to support caseloads towards sustainable employment
Experience and Skills Required:
* Proven experience in developing and delivering effective courses and workshops
* Experience working with IT and Office software
* Knowledge of the local labour market
* Ability to network internally and externally to build relationships
* Excellent communication skills, persuasive, influential, and attentive listening
* Training or coaching qualification
