Base pay range
£13.50 to £14 per hour, dependant on experience. Full Time; Permanent. Leeds LS10, West Yorkshire. Days: Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm and Friday 7am to 2.30pm.
Responsibilities
* As a Bench Hand Joiner, be responsible for the hand assembly and finishing of high-quality, custom-made furniture.
* Work from detailed drawings, using a range of traditional and modern techniques to produce pieces that meet exacting standards.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a bench hand joiner (preferably within a bespoke or high-end manufacturing environment).
* Proficient in reading technical drawings and working independently.
* Skilled in using a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
* Ability to work as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with hardwoods and veneered boards.
* Knowledge of cabinet-making techniques.
* Finishing, sanding, or polishing experience.
