This is a tactical senior operational Management, requiring experience in the delivery of healthcare cleaning and hygiene service) at one of the four hospitals at Barts Health NH Trust
The successful candidate will help shape and develop the future success of our Soft FM cleaning services within Barts Trust which is the largest and most ambitious NHS Trust within the UK.
The role encompasses the need for tactical leadership to oversee the high quality operational and financial management of all cleaning and hygiene services across the Barts Health NHS. Along with the delivery of innovative cleaning service change management projects.
Employing state-of-the-art cleaning equipment and methodologies affiliated to the latest leading edge digital and AI business support applications to deliver and maintain the highest levels of service, quality assurance and corporate governance. by collaborative working with clinical, Infection Prevention (IPC), leads, Estates leads and our in-house, Soft FM Compliance, Quality Assurance Audit Team (CQAAT)to provide excellent overall standards of cleanliness and safety to patients.
Main duties of the job
To manage the operational, fiscal, and quality assurance performance for all the in-house
and ancillary contracted specialist supply chain partner cleaning service deliverables across the Hospital site and auxiliary buildings to include but not limited to:
o Washroom Services
o Window Cleaning
o Pest Control
o Supply and Management of Disposable Bay and Shower Curtains
o Cleaning Equipment, Supply and Maintenance and use in situ.
o Mop and Micro-fibre Cloth laundering and renewal.
o Cleaning Services Waste Management and supply of waste stream waste bags
and tags
o Supply of all cleaning consumables, chemicals, and ancillary cleaning products
o Specialist Deep Cleaning Activities to include HPV Decontamination Fogging and
UVA Decontamination
