Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, KODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It is a national network of TPS Centres with a workforce of 1,500 employees and a management team committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that recognises, rewards, and encourages learning and development.
Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
Job Opportunity
What will you be doing?
As Centre Manager, you will lead, manage, and motivate your TPS team to meet business plans and objectives, ensure excellent customer service, develop strategic plans, and implement all necessary processes for a successful TPS Centre.
* Achieve Centre targets and business objectives
* Translate sales targets into departmental goals with management and set challenging yet achievable objectives
* Motivate, recognise, and incentivise the team
* Create Personal Development Plans, monitor progress, and provide support as needed
* Develop a Manpower Plan and establish a succession plan
* Foster a customer-centric culture
* Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
* Devise and implement sales plans to increase revenue within the sales strategy
* Monitor business performance regularly and take corrective actions as needed
* Analyze market data to identify sales opportunities
* Work towards achieving business plans and budgets, controlling costs within set parameters including Gross Margin levels
* Ensure compliance with all standards, processes, and legal guidelines (including Warranty)
* Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and ensure the security of stock and premises
