Are you passionate about supporting a deaf child with their learning and communication needs? Are you BSL Level 2 qualified with a competent level of fluency? Halesbury school is looking to appoint a Communication Support Worker (Hearing Impairment) with BSL or Signature Level 2 in BSL.
Have completed BSL or Signature Level 2 in BSL
Have experience of working with children with SEN in a specialist educational setting and the ability to support pupils during emotional and behavioural crisis
Have the ability to implement Autism friendly practices to support the young person within a class
5 per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
26 (which includes SEN 2 allowance of £1500.Halesbury is an all age 4-19 Special School for pupils with autism, complex communication and cognition and learning needs.
