Registered Manager – Children’s EBD Home
Location: Harrow, West London
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE) + Performance Bonus
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Our client, is in the process of launching a brand-new 3-bed Children’s Residential Home for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). They are seeking a passionate Registered Manager to lead the home through its Ofsted registration and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Ofsted registration process for a new EBD home (including SC1 and SC2 submissions)
* Oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
* Build and manage a high-performing, trauma-informed care team
* Create a nurturing, therapeutic environment that supports emotional development
* Work closely with external professionals, families, and agencies
* Prepare for and participate in the FIT Person Interview (with coaching provided)
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager (3+ years in EBD settings)
* Previous involvement in Ofsted inspections or registrations
* Holds or is working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Services)
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and trauma-informed care
* Ambitious, reflective, and committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for children
