Job Title: Senior Private Client Solicitor
Location: Bromley, Kent (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum

Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their Bromley office on a like-for-like basis. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in private client work, including wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts. Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting simple and complex Wills, Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and Declarations of Trust.
* Managing probate administration, including preparing estate accounts and inheritance tax calculations.
* Advising clients on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and financial planning related to estates.
* Liaising effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to manage cases efficiently.
* Conducting complex legal research and reviewing documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members, where appropriate, and taking ownership of case files.
* Ensuring timely and organized case management with prioritization of tasks and attention to detail.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and firm standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in private client law, including Wills, Probate, LPAs, and trusts. 3-6 years PQE
* Strong knowledge of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and related financial planning.
* Excellent client care and communication skills, with a proactive and meticulous approach.
* Strong IT literacy, including use of legal databases (PLC, LexisNexis, Westlaw) and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
* Experience working in a hybrid environment and collaborating effectively across teams.
* Multilingual skills (English plus other European languages) are advantageous but not essential.
Education & Qualifications:
* Solicitor regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
* Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., Solicitors for the Elderly) is desirable.
* LPC and LLB qualifications (or equivalent)
