Business Support Administrator – Harrogate or Darlington
We’re on the hunt for a talented Business Support Administrator to join our friendly team based in Harrogate or Darlington at Geo Agriculture. You will provide administration support to our underwriting functions, assisting to write, renew and administer specialist insurance policies. What does a Business Support Administrator here do?
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
1. Provide great customer service by phone and e-mail.
2. Maintain and update the database.
3. Prepare and produce policy renewal invitations.
4. Process renewals and issue the relevant documentation.
5. Build strong relationships with our internal stakeholders.
6. Handle and distribute incoming post and e-mails to relevant teams and action where necessary.
7. Data entry such as quote preparation.
8. Produce MI reports to help produce results for the business.
9. General ad-hoc administration and office duties.
What are we looking for in our next Business Support Administrator?
This is an opportunity for an organised individual with a keen eye for detail who can prioritise their own workload and assist the team in managing theirs. It’s essential that you have Microsoft Offices products experience preferably gained from a similar role and it would be a bonus if you have any knowledge or experience of the underwriting cycle. You will be highly organised, can use your initiative to drive change and deliver results, using commercial awareness whilst building relationships and communicating effectively
