Salary:Base salary£38,247.41 - £45,896.13per annum (depending on skills and experience)

About the role
Join our Workshop Team to repair andmaintainmechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, gearboxes, and drive systems. Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and health & safety standards.
What you willbe responsible for:
3. Overhaul mechanical assets including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and drive units.
4. Interpret mechanical technical drawings and repair assets to manufacturer specifications.
5. Recommend upgrades and cost-effective solutions to operational colleagues.
6. Provide on-site technicalassistanceand advice over the phone whenrequired.
7. Operate machine tools such as lathes, drills, and milling machines.
8. Work in anorganisedmanner with health and safety as a priority.
Additional Requirements
Occasional cover at other sites may berequired.
Whatyou’llbring to the role:
Essential
9. Level 3 NVQ in a mechanical discipline or equivalent.
10. Experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems.
11. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
13. Full UK drivinglicence.
Desirable
14. Experience operating machine tools (lathes, drills, milling machines).
15. Background as a fitter-turner or similar industrial apprenticeship.
