Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Widnes for a Streetworks Planner/Coordinator (Utilities & Telecoms). The Streetworks Planner/Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating streetworks activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing permits. The role involves liaising with local authorities, utility companies, and other stakeholders, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports. Additionally, the Planner/Coordinator will assist in mitigating any potential disruptions to the community and optimizing project schedules.
Duties
* Council Liaisons for Approvals, Applications & Suspensions
* Application of Permits/Suspensions
* Planning of Works
* Liaise with Clients to align planned works
* Develop programmes for up to 8 teams across multiple workstreams/contracts.
Requirements
* Experience in the TM/Streetworks - Required
* Proven experience in permitting on SWNS, Symology or similar.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations & Council/HAs
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving
