The Fostering Team support every aspect of the in-house foster carer process from marketing and recruitment events to promote fostering in Bolton to the annual family event to celebrate the hard work of foster carers. Foster carers provide children with a safe place to stay and ensure they are supported to achieve better outcomes and they have every chance to succeed, be safe and be happy. The lead administrator is key to ensuring the smooth running of services and the role is exciting and varied. Duties include (but are not limited to) assisting with pre and post fostering panel arrangements, collating reports for Panels, and taking comprehensive minutes of panel meetings, so accurate and efficient minute taking experience is essential. Key responsibilities: Assist with pre and post fostering panel arrangements. Collate reports for Panels. Take comprehensive and accurate minutes of panel meetings. Management of an administrative team including responsibility for recruitment, development and performance management. Oversee resources and contribution to the resource planning process. May have delegated responsibility for a budget where appropriate. Attendance at internal and external meetings to ensure that departmental/work issues are represented appropriately. Responsibility for monitoring and maintaining records/reports to meet internal and external requirements.
