We are currently looking for a Procurement compliance officer who will Lead the delivery of strategic end‑to‑end project audits across all Operating Units to ensure consistent application of best‑practice procurement. Drive compliance with Skanska’s Ways of Working, strengthening BU‑wide governance and assurance. Champion continuous improvement by identifying gaps, recommending actions, and supporting Operating Units to embed robust sustainable procurement processes. Provide leadership and direction to deliver the team’s Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) plans, and drive early bid engagement with Central Procurement Frameworks, embedding these agreements within Operational Procurement Strategy.
As the Procurement compliance officer, you will:
1. Undertake project compliance audits against agreed procurement criteria.
2. Prepare post-audit reports, presenting clear and actionable findings for senior stakeholders.
3. Validate audit evidence and present insights at Business Unit level.
4. Document corrective actions and track their closure.
5. Manage & file all evidence methodically
6. Drive consistent collection of key performance indicators (KPIs) across all Operating Units.
7. Support supply chain due diligence and wider assurance requirements.
We are looking for:
8. Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels of business and supply chain, including influencing senior stakeholders
9. Procurement experience, preferably within construction
10. Competent in procurement regulations and industry standards
11. Proven ability to review and challenge procurement activity
12. Experience contributing to policy development or process improvement initiatives
13. Working knowledge of the P2P (purchase to pay) process
14. Strong analytical capability to interpret data & inform strategy
15. Deliver to deadlines and manages multiple priorities
16. Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar
