Job Description:
VANRATH is partnering with a leading international organisation in the Agri sector to appoint a Health, Safety and Environmental Lead. This role is pivotal within a globally respected company that values innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being.
Location: Leicester
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

As the Health, Safety and Environmental Lead, you will:
1. Shape and maintain health, safety, and sustainability standards across multiple sites.
2. Promote a culture of accountability and safety excellence.
3. Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.
4. Drive environmental responsibility in line with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead safety initiatives and promote safety awareness among employees.
2. Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance, reviewing protocols and reporting non-conformance.
3. Investigate safety incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
4. Spearhead environmental responsibility programs aligned with legislation and sustainability goals.
5. Maintain legal compliance across all environmental activities.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote eco-conscious practices.
7. Manage emissions tracking and annual greenhouse gas reporting.
8. Integrate environmental awareness into operational planning.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Health, Safety, or Environmental leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
* Passion for continuous improvement and safety culture development.
