Vertu BMW Bridgwater is recruiting an ambitious Assistant Service Manager to join our high-performing aftersales team.

We are offering a basic salary of £35,000 with OTE of £40,000, alongside ongoing development and progression opportunities.

About the role
As Assistant Service Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the smooth, efficient running of the Service Department. Your focus will be on maximising productivity, maintaining high standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and organising all incoming workshop activity
* Managing technician workloads to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines
* Leading, motivating and developing your team to achieve their full potential
* Supporting performance management and driving continuous improvement
About you
We’re looking for a confident and driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally come from a Workshop Controller, Senior Service Advisor, or existing management background within automotive aftersales.
You will also have:
* Proven experience in managing or leading a team
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A track record of delivering results and improving performance
* A full UK driving licence
