External Sales Engineer (CNC / EDM)
Job Overview
Following continued growth of our client in the UK and internationally for the supply of EDM components and tooling, we are looking to recruit an additional External Sales Engineer to help take our business to the next level.
We are therefore looking for a confident, hardworking sales professional ideally with experience in EDM / Graphite; a background in CNC manufacturing and consumable sales will be viewed favourably. Representing the full product range from fully manufactured graphite parts to EDM consumables, this role offers scope and opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Management of customers
* Following up quotations
* Maintaining visit logs
* Territory management
* Provide technical support to internal sales when required
* Submit regular reports to Sales Manager
* Maintain contact with customers
* Develop relationships with customers
* Find new customers in existing industries
* Continually look for new markets
Qualifications / Requirements
* Be self‑motivated, tenacious, confident and results orientated
* Have a full, clean UK driving licence
* Be able to work on own initiative
* Be comfortable meeting new people
* Be comfortable dealing with objections
* Preferably have a background in or some knowledge of EDM, Graphite or CNC machining
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid working role with close working connectivity with the existing sales team and organisation.
