Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at a prestigious location in Godalming. The role is full-time, permanent, with a salary of £25,600 per annum, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 06:30 to 15:00.
This position is based at an independent co-educational day school catering to 300 students and staff. The role involves preparing fresh, seasonal ingredients, working with bespoke menus, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with a team of chefs to provide catering services to pupils and teachers.
* Preparing food from scratch using fresh ingredients, adhering to brand standards.
* Maintaining food standards and controlling wastage.
* Following all food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen control policies.
Candidate skills and qualities:
* Interest in food and customer service excellence.
* Team player with creativity and attention to detail.
* Understanding of food costs and wastage management.
* Good verbal and written English skills.
* Experience in customer service or food preparation preferred.
