EF Bournemouth Summer School is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Activities & Events Team as Activity Leaders for summer 2026.
In this role, you will organize and lead activities, events and excursions, creating an unforgettable experience for international students.

Position Details
* Full-time
* 6 days a week
* Fixed-term contract between June – August 2026 (minimum two-week commitment)
* Accommodation and full board provided if necessary
Every day is different – from city trips, to themed parties and interactive games. You’ll play a key part in helping students feel welcome, confident and connected, while also developing your own leadership and communication skills in a fun and multicultural environment. It’s a highly rewarding role that allows you to make a real impact on students’ lives while enjoying a memorable and fulfilling summer yourself.

Responsibilities
* Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities, events, ceremonies and day trips
* Creates a lively atmosphere throughout the site and during excursions, all while delivering excellent customer service
* Help students break cultural barriers and build friendships by facilitating activities that get them speaking English, sharing their cultures and learning from one another
* Takes responsibility for health, safety and well-being of all students, including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures
* Liaises with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager to discuss how to improve future activities, events, ceremonies and day trips
* Ensures the EF behaviour code is always followed by all students and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems
Requirements
* Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality
* Confident in leading and managing groups of students
* Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
* Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
* Customer service mindset
* Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitive to the needs of international students
* A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
* Is a trained First Aider (preferable but not essential)
* Experience with 13-17 year olds (preferable but not essential)
* All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
* Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment
