Offshore working hours vary.33 days holidays PA,opt-in private medical & health care package,cycle to work scheme.Training provided as required for personal development.Job Role:This varied role entails welding and fabrication of bespoke equipment and components to a high level of accuracy on a day-to-day basis, as well as assisting with equipment assembly and servicing. You may occasionally be required to assist with project mobilizations offsite onboard vessels.Responsibilities:Reporting to the production supervisor, you will:Weld and fabricate, ensuring products meet project requirements in a timely manner.Perform mechanical fitting, new build assembly, product testing, and equipment maintenance/repair.Prepare, mobilize, operate, and demobilize equipment on offshore projects, including fault finding and defect rectification.Assist with the preparation and dispatching of equipment to clients, including ongoing global client support.Liaise with clients, crew members, and attend meetings when necessary.Adhere to all QHSE regulations, maintain organization, self-motivation, and continually seek to learn new skills within our vibrant team.Essential Prerequisites:Ability to understand weld symbols and engineering drawings.Experience with welding/fabricating precision components using MIG/MAG (Pulse) and TIG techniques.Proficiency in working with various grades of mild and stainless steels plus aluminum.Competent with hand tools, cutting, and drilling equipment.Experience using assembly drawings to identify required components.Willingness to travel globally, with a valid passport and full driving license.Positive, confident, and determined approach to work with a high degree of self-motivation and ambition.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a safe manner in line with H&S/COSSH principles.Preferred Prerequisites:Previous weld coding certification.Forklift, telehandler, overhead crane licenses.Passport with at least 12 months remaining.Minimum 3 years' experience within the offshore industry.Relevant qualifications, apprenticeship, or time served experience.Valid BOSIET qualification and OGUK medical cert or similar.If you are interested and believe you have what it takes to excel in this role, please submit your CV and covering us and be part of a team that is shaping the future of engineering solutions globally!
