TMM Recruitment is looking for an Aviation Logistics Coordinator to join our client, a leading aviation services company on a permanent basis. Located in Aberdeen this fast-paced role will be best suited to applicants with previous experience in a similar role.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Responsible for the publication and dissemination of the next day’s Flying Programme.
* Collating client flight requirements for next day.
* Liaising with Engineering to determine aircraft availability.
* Matching revenue flights to aircraft and identifying slots available for training or additional flight requirements.
* Reviewing roster to determine pilots on duty and expected duty and flight time limitations.
* Assigning pilots to the flights iaw regulatory and client specific requirements.
* Managing any shortfall of pilots due to sickness/training etc.
* Ensuring all training requirements met iaw Training Plan.
* Communicating roster and daily changes to crew at publication of final schedule. Publishing next days flying programme within deadline and handover to Operations.
* Roster amendments.
* Continuous monitoring and management of flight hour totals.
* Coordinating VIP and special flight requests.
* Assistance to Operations to mitigate any shortfall in daily crewing.
* Forward planning the next weeks programme iaw regulatory and client rules.
* Holiday relief for Aircrew and Flight Scheduler.
Applicants to this role require
* You should be IT computer literate.
* Aviation experience is preferred but not essential.
* You will have analytical and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, as well as having attention to detail, confidentiality and patience.
* You should also demonstrate the desire to improve/update processes and working practices.
