Key Responsibilities: As a Junior Paraplanner within an IFA practice, your day-to-day duties will include: 1. Research & Analysis Assist with product and fund research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax wrappers. Gather and review client data, including fact finds, risk profiles, and policy information. Support in preparing cash flow models and analysing financial positions. 2. Report Writing Draft suitability reports and recommendation letters under supervision. Prepare review packs and documentation for client meetings. Ensure all client reports meet compliance and regulatory standards. 3. Administrative Support Process new business applications and track them through to completion. Update and maintain accurate client records on back-office systems (e.g. Intelligent Office). Liaise with providers to obtain plan information, valuations, and illustrations. 4. Client Communication Act as a point of contact for client queries where appropriate. Request additional information or documentation from clients when needed. Follow up on outstanding items to support advice delivery. 5. Compliance & Development Adhere to internal procedures and FCA regulatory requirements. Attend training sessions and work towards relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning). Stay informed about industry updates, legislative changes, and product developments. Qualifications and Skills Required: To be considered for this role, you should have: Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a Financial Services Administrator within an IFA practice. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Desirable Qualifications: Financial Services qualifications, though not essential.
