Join to apply for the Driver/Warehouse Supervisor role at Charles Hurst Group Ltd.
We are looking for a Driver/Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at the Charles Hurst Parts Centre. This is a permanent full-time position with a 44 hour week: Monday to Thursday 08:00–17:30 (30 minute lunch) and Friday 08:30–17:00 (30 minute lunch).
Responsibilities
* Maintain our high standards of housekeeping to ensure all parts and accessories are kept in a saleable condition at all times.
* Be responsible for the successful running of all aspects of the Warehouse.
* Ensure team members report shortages or breakages to you in sufficient time.
* Liaise with all staff at the Parts Hub to coordinate operations.
Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues across the Lookers group. Lead and supervise warehouse operatives to ensure smooth day-to-day distribution hub activities.
Requirements
You should have experience working in a warehouse environment with handling and organising parts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Previous experience as a supervisor/line manager is advantageous.
Experience with a computerised stock management system is preferred; Kerridge/ADP knowledge is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. A forklift licence is desirable.
