Physiotherapist
Job Purpose:
To work as an autonomous practitioner providing comprehensive Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of clients with a variety of neurological and complex orthopaedic presentations
The Physiotherapist duties will be:
* To be the Lead Therapist for a varied client caseload providing advanced assessment, treatment and overall management
* Provide treatment to clients with complex presentations under guidance of Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist/Lead Therapist
* Supervise and delegate to Neurological Physiotherapists and Neurological Rehabilitation Coaches
* To participate in the Physio Matters Clinical Caseload Review program both as a supervisor and supervisee
* Work alongside members of multi-disciplinary teams in order to provide holistic client-centered rehabilitation
* To provide advice, teaching and instruction to relatives, carers and other professionals, to promote understanding of the aims of physiotherapy and to ensure a consistent approach to client care.
* To provide education and training for the therapy team as required e.g. In-service training, client discussions
* To have visible presence in office between treatment sessions to allow opportunity for face-to-face discussion and supervision.
* To be responsible for personal continuing professional development
Communication:
* To use appropriate methods of communication with clients and carers to maximise rehabilitation potential and their understanding of the condition.
* As Lead Therapist, to communicate effectively with all therapy and office staff involved in treatment and management of the client. Administrative Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
* Prepare assessment reports, update reports and other clinical documents
* Respond to internal and external communications in a timely and professional manner
* Consistently meet internal and external deadlines
To work as a Physiotherapist in this unique role you will need:
* Eligibility to Work in the UK
* Be a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP).
* Be a Member of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Maintain professional behaviours to uphold Physio Matters reputation
* Efficiency and good time management
* To be a role model for other clinicians
* To show initiative and contribute solutions when problems are identified
* Ability to multitask and prioritise
* Effective teamwork

* The starting salary for a Senior Neurological Physiotherapist is £35,392 but negotiable depending on experience.
