Fabrication Manager
Excellent opportunity to lead the fabrication department within a rapidly growing business. Make your own mark and implement your own ideas.
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, 25 days holiday + banks, performance bonus, sick pay. Flexible hours across the day shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the fabrication processes ensuring products are delivered to specification and standards.
* Manage the team of 10, supporting development and training where required.
* Introduce new processes to improve efficiency within the fabrication team.
* Ensure quality remains high and health & safety procedures are adhered to.
* Work with IT packages to manage workflow and oversee fabrication tasks (e.g. nesting using Lantek).
Qualifications
* Experience working within the steel/heavy fabrication sector.
* Proven management or supervisory experience with a track record of improving fabrication processes.
* Hands‑on welding or fabrication background.
* Health & Safety / Quality driven, ensuring products are manufactured to a high standard.
* Organised, natural problem solver who wants to own the department and continually improve all aspects.
* Comfortable with IT systems; experience with Sage (or similar) is ideal, but training can be provided.
