Machine Operator Location: MaldonContract Type: Permanent Shifts: Nights shift available 4 on 4 off

Key Responsibilities
Machine & Asset Care
* Perform selected Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks.
* Support machine performance and reliability.
Health & Safety
* Promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
* Complete risk assessments, report incidents, and submit near misses.
* Adhere to all safety policies including PPE, LOTO, Knife Safety, and others.
* Participate in 6S inspections and continuous safety improvements.
Quality Assurance
* Ensure only calibrated equipment is used.
* Assist in SOP development and product testing.
* Manage questionable stock and ensure product quality meets specifications.
Supply Chain & Reporting
* Communicate with supply chain for material replenishment.
* Report material usage and complete line performance metrics.
* Maintain visual management boards and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Machine & Asset Care
* Perform selected Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks.
* Support machine performance and reliability.
Education & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* FLT license preferred.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong knowledge of production processes and computer literacy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Team-oriented with leadership potential.
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Able to work all shift patterns, including weekends
