Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurances strategies to ensure compliance with aviation regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
* Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, and processes for aircraft maintenance, operations, and related services.
* Provide support, and training to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Design implement, and oversee quality assurances programs, including audits and inspections.
* Coordinate with regulatory authorities, industry organisations, and stakeholders to stay updated on changes in aviation regulations, standards, and best practice.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, safety, training, to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
* Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to measure quality performance and track progress towards quality objectives.
* Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with aviation regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
* Investigate quality incidents, safety occurrences, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
* Provide support during regulatory inspections, customer audits, and quality management system certifications.
What you will need:
* Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices including Part 145 Safety Management Systems.
* Extensive experience in quality assurance, quality management, or regulatory compliance leadership roles.
* In-depth knowledge of UK aviation regulations (CAA/EASA) and international aviation standards.
* Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems.
