Occupational Therapist - Front Door Service
Location: Harrow • Salary: £33- £35 / Hour • Job type: Day to Day Cover
Overview: An enthusiastic Occupational Therapist is sought to join a well-structured and dynamic Front Door team. The vacancy is for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension, with a full-time contract and an option to work from home. A fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio are available.
Responsibilities
* Conduct holistic occupational therapy assessments for adults presenting with new or changing care needs at the Front Door.
* Develop and implement person-centered intervention plans to support independence in activities of daily living.
* Provide advice and recommendations on equipment, adaptations, and community resources to enable individuals to live safely at home.
* Work collaboratively with social care teams and partner agencies to facilitate timely access to services.
* Contribute to safeguarding adults and ensure all assessments and interventions comply with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
* Maintain accurate and timely records and reports in line with organizational policies.
* Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in Adult Social Care
* HCPC Registration
* Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Occupational Therapist Qualification
