In this varied role, you will play a vital part in the team responsible for the day-to-day operation across Jigsaw Trust. You will help provide a daily minibus pickup service for staff to and from a central location in Guildford to Dunsfold Park. Additionally, as part of the Facilities Team you will assist with some site focused tasks, vehicle safety inspections and help support pupil and learner transitions into school in the mornings.

Responsibilities of the role
17. Provide a pick-up service for Jigsaw staff from central Guildford to Dunsfold Park
18. Undertake vehicle maintenance checks, cleaning and reporting of defects
19. Assist with daily taxis and parent transport movements and site vehicle access and movements
20. Carry out the movement of deliveries, furniture and equipment within the site
21. Maintain cleanliness and general tidiness and inspection of all external areas of the site
22. Carry out building checks of Jigsaw’s property, keeping accurate records and reporting any defects
To be successful in this role you will need:
23. Full, clean D1 driving licence
24. Proven basic vehicle maintenance skills
25. Experience in a driving role
26. Experience of undertaking basic grounds maintenance
27. The ability to perform tasks of a physical, sometimes demanding, nature including twisting and stooping
28. Ability to understand and adhere to Child Protection and Safeguarding legislation
29. Experience in a similar setting would be advantageous
Salary: £12,698 PA (£12.21 per hour) FTE £25,397
Contract terms: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am to 11am
