In this role, you will work as part of a team to deliver Electronic Control Units to the Customers on time and to a high specification, whilst operating in accordance with safety requirements and within established procedures. You will play an active role in contributing to continuous improvement within your business cell, develop existing processes and implement process improvements. These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts. What you will be doing Being part of an integrated team, your will work to achieve the cell's targets. You will look after: Production of surface mount and through hole assemblies in accordance with the relevant aerospace quality processes and procedures. Setting and operating the machines and equipment to produce parts for OE using standard work procedures. Maintenance of all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards and planning schedules. Raising non-conformance documentation and assisting the team and management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Maintaining equipment by ensuring TPM, 5S, calibration is adhered to. Following standard operating procedures, health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Previous experience in electronics manufacturing preferred (manual and automated build techniques). Soldering experienced (IPC trained) desirable. Previous experience of using pick and place machinery desirable. IT Skills (MES/ use of Microsoft applications). Electronic Engineering qualifications desirable (NVQ/HNC/HND or equivalent).
