Legal Counsel - 12 month fixed term contract

An international consumer business is looking to hire a commercial lawyer to join its established UK legal team.
This is a broad, high-exposure role supporting a fast-paced, creative business with a strong consumer and marketing focus. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, commercial and operations acting as a trusted legal business partner.
The Role
You’ll provide day-to-day legal support across a wide range of commercial and marketing matters, with particular emphasis on:
Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across procurement, hospitality and operations
Advising on marketing, advertising and digital campaigns, including promotions and partnerships
Supporting IP matters, influencer agreements, creative services and brand collaborations
Advising on PR, partnerships and private client initiatives
Supporting data protection and membership programmes, including T&Cs and compliance
Assisting with disputes, legal process improvements and legal training initiatives
Working closely with external counsel where required
About You
Minimum 3 years’ PQE (law firm and/or in-house)
Strong experience in commercial contracts and/or marketing law
Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-driven
Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-moving business
Enjoys collaboration and being close to the commercial decision-making
