Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across different age groups and subjects Implement lesson plans provided by the school or create own lesson plans when necessary Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and other methods Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school activities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work with diverse student populations Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Prior experience in teaching or working with students preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational guidelines Effective classroom management techniques Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students Proficient in using technology in the classroom Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience teaching in a variety of school settings Specialist subject knowledge or additional certifications Working Conditions: The Supply Teacher will work in a school setting, following the school's academic calendar and daily schedule. The role may involve working with students of various age groups and abilities, requiring flexibility and adaptability in teaching approaches.
