Banking & Finance Associate (3–6 PQE)

Team: Tier 2 – Banking & Finance

The Role
In this role, you will handle a diverse and sophisticated caseload of domestic and international banking and finance transactions.
Working alongside top-ranked Partners and Associates, you’ll lead on aspects of complex deals while developing your own client relationships and supporting the wider team.
Alongside this, you will get the opportunity to balance high-quality technical work with growing leadership and client management responsibilities.

The Work
You’ll work across a broad spectrum of Banking & Finance matters, including:
* General Corporate Banking
* Leveraged and Acquisition Finance
* Real Estate and Project Finance
* Structured Finance and Syndicated Lending
* Acting for both lenders and borrowers on high-value transactions
* Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
* Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers and trainees within the team
* Taking a proactive role in internal training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement
In this role you will combine your technical excellence with leadership, taking ownership of your practice while helping shape the team’s continued success.
Your Experience
* 3-6 years’ PQE with solid Banking & Finance experience
* Strong technical and transactional experience, with the confidence to lead on complex matters
* Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, business-focused advice
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork and leadership
* Keen to mentor junior colleagues, contribute to training and help drive client relationships forward
* Motivated to progress your career within a leading international environment
