We are currently looking for a driven and ambitious Mast Engineer (Service Lead) to join the ZX Measurements Team based in Blantyre, Glasgow. The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Management Team at ZX Measurement Services in the development and delivery of a commercially robust meteorological masting service. As an experienced masting professional, you will take responsibility for the planning and execution of meteorological mast site surveys, installations, inspections and maintenance activities, working closely with the instrumentation and Project Management teams to deliver associated services. The position requires a strong technical foundation and proven practical experience across all aspects of meteorological mast delivery, including: - A comprehensive understanding of wind resource measurement principles and applicable industry standards, including IEC and MEASNET - Proven ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications and site layout plans - Demonstrated experience in the installation and ongoing maintenance of guyed lattice and tubular meteorological masts - Competence in structural inspection, guy tensioning and verification of guyed lattice and tubular mast integrity - Strong technical report writing skills, including inspection reports, installation records and compliance documentation - Experience working within the CDM Regulations, including awareness of designer and contractor responsibilities and site safety management This is a Permanent Full-Time role, working 35 hours per week based at our office in Blantyre (Glasgow, G72 0AD) with frequent offsite work required to fulfil the role, i.e. met mast site surveys, installation and maintenance visits.
