Electro Mechanical Service Engineer

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000
Contract: Full Time | Permanent
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electro Mechanical Service Engineer to join a busy workshop-based engineering team. This is a hands‑on role involving the inspection, servicing, repair and assembly of pumps and associated equipment within a specialist engineering environment. The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated engineering team, supporting maintenance activities and ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Inspect, service, repair and assemble pumps and associated equipment
* Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
* Carry out equipment performance testing
* Assist with fault finding and technical problem solving
* Liaise with customers and suppliers where required
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
* Support continuous improvement and company procedures
* Assist in the development and support of other team members
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working in a similar electro mechanical, maintenance or workshop-based engineering role
* Working knowledge of motors and/or pumps
* Electrically competent with strong hands‑on engineering ability
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
* Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks
Qualifications & Experience
* Technical qualification (minimum Level 3)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar workshop environment
* Computer literate (Word, Excel and general systems use)
