POST TWO
TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 4 (PPA COVER) - To start in February 2026
Salary Scale 5 Pts 12-17
Full-time - 32.5 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified teacher or higher level teaching assistant, who is willing to assist in the teaching and learning of children across the school. Applicants should be prepared, in conjunction with the class teacher, to cover PPA across all Key Stages and offer supply cover where needed. We are looking for someone who is patient, caring and committed.
The successful candidate will:
Have HLTA qualification or higher/Teaching qualification
Be an excellent practitioner
Be enthusiastic and hardworking
Have high expectations for the children’s learning and behaviour
Be flexible, well organised, patient and caring
Be able to fully support the class teacher and on occasion cover classes.
Have a cheerful manner and work effectively as part of a team
Be willing to contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school
