This is a full time (37) permanent post working Monday to Friday. NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Service Support Team Manager in its eHealth Directorate. This senior position involves leading a team responsible for providing application and technical support for the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Acute and Community systems. This role ensures EPR support services are delivered so staff can use key systems effectively. Candidates should hold a degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification, an equivalent IT professional qualification, or demonstrate comparable experience. ITIL qualification in service management is desirable. Applicants are expected to show leadership experience within a complex operational environment, including managing teams (directly or through matrix management), and possess broad knowledge of the NHS in Scotland or a similarly complex organisation. A thorough understanding of EPR systems at an expert level is necessary to advise end users on all system aspects. Additional competencies include strong teamwork, written and verbal communication skills, organisational abilities, commercial awareness, customer focus, analytical and planning skills, as well as the ability to present and engage effectively at a senior level.
