Position Overview
We are seeking Mission Systems Analysis, Integration and Test (AIT) Engineers to join our F/A-18E/F Mission Systems team in Berkeley, MO. The AIT Engineer will lead the integration of new and upgraded subsystems within the advanced avionics suite, enhancing capabilities for the Super Hornet and Growler fleet. Responsibilities include system design, testing, coordinating schedules and technical issues with stakeholders, subcontractors, and customers, and mentoring entry-level engineers.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate hardware-software integration efforts in a fast-paced Agile environment.
* Communicate across teams and with program leadership.
* Analyze customer requests and translate them into actionable requirements.
* Monitor supplier performance to ensure system compliance.
* Support hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
* Provide technical leadership and training for entry-level engineers.
* Promote proactive technical oversight, risk management, and issue resolution.
* Implement productivity improvements using Lean principles.
* Collaborate with F/A-18 functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Additional Requirements
* This position is onsite at one of the specified locations.
* Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Experience levels vary: 2+ years (Level 2), 5+ years (Level 3), 9+ years (Level 4), with corresponding qualifications.
* Experience with military avionics technology.
Preferred Qualifications
* 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
* Strong communication skills.
* Experience developing or integrating Mission Systems for military aircraft.
* Experience with electronic system design, testing, and test planning.
* Experience with Multi-Level Security (MLS) and SAFe methodology.
* Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
* Recent security clearance background check.
Education/Experience by Level
* Associate (Level 2): Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ related experience or Master’s degree with relevant experience.
* Experienced (Level 3): Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience or PhD/Master+3 years.
* Senior (Level 4): Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years’ experience or PhD+4 years.
