We’re looking for 4x Corporate Credit Underwriters with strong expertise to join our growing forward‑thinking Risk and Compliance team. This hybrid role requires presence in the Bristol office at least one day per week.
Summary of Responsibilities
* Analysing customer documentation, credit data and financial statements to evaluate risks.
* Conducting credit analysis and issuing credit opinions for applications above £1 million.
* Registering new customers in the risk system following the customer registration process.
* Producing a robust audit trail for all application decisions to ensure compliance with onboarding and origination approval processes.
* Co‑ordinating with the management and risk teams to complete tasks and escalating issues timely to achieve SLA.
* Delivering operational effectiveness, meeting productivity and quality targets set by the business.
* Continuously reviewing operational processes to maximise efficiency and update governance procedures.
* Participating in ad‑hoc projects and process reviews to improve the end‑to‑end client journey.
* Owning risk procedures and updating them in line with risk, regulatory and compliance parameters.
* Contributing to improvements in processes and policy that balance risk with customer service.
* Managing and building internal relationships with key business functions.
